Description
Based on Euripides’ Medea. Written and directed by Kgaogelo Tshabalala; created to fulfil the requirement of adapting a Greek play to a South African context for the State Theatre’s Youth Expressions Festival in June 2013. With a cast of Sello Zikalala, Sello Ngwana Nyatsi Ramolahloane, Betty Thema, Motlatse Mafatshe, Zimkhitha Kumbaca, and others. Performed at the State Theatre's Youth Expressions Festival (YEF) (June 2013); The State Theatre Arena (8 April to 4 May 2014); National Arts Festival State Theatre Fringe Show (3 to 7 July 2014).
