Based on Jean Anouilh’s 'Médée', French adaptation of Euripides’ Medea. Performers: Almerene Visser (Medea), Jakes Jacobs (Jason), Lorraine Viljoen (Die Voedster), Anton Schmidt (Die Seun), Siegfried Kitching, Chris Jougaard and Paul Vink (Die Wagte), Dannie Stokes and Patrick Stokes as Die Kinders, and Frans Kalp (Kreon)

Translated into Afrikaans by Lorraine Viljoen. This was re-performed in 2003 by the Drama Department of the Technikon, Pretoria, directed by René Tredoux, at the Breytenbach Theatre, with a cast of Drama students, including Jana Strydom as Medea.
