Dates of performance are not 100% certain. Betine Van Zyl Smit mentions a performance in Potchefstroom in May 1907, for which academic Leo Kershaw has not yet found further attestation. April 1908 is the most well-documented, attended by colonial secretary General J.C. Smuts at the People’s Congress. The company toured the Transvaal and appears to have also performed Medea in unspecified rural towns. Scenery painted by Frans Oerder.
