Performed in English. Directed by Ruth Peffers, Head of Speech and Drama UCT. Peffers also produced and choreographed Euripides’ Hippolytus in October 1931 as the second ever performance by the Speech and Drama Department at the Little Theatre. In May 1941 Peffers produced and choreographed Euripides’ Trojan Women, performed by the UCT Speech and Drama Department and the University Dramatic Society.
