A lively drawing of a mail coach being drawn at speed by 10 horses along a mountain pass. It is driven by 2 Malay drivers with 2 postal officials sitting behind them. Standing at the back of the coach is a man with a bugle. A passenger can be seen seated inside the coach, which is marked on the door and sides with the legend quoted above and with the cypher "VR".
