A theatrical adaptation based on a short story by Marion Baxter.

The scalded spirit of Helen Martins hovered still in her figures.
The Attendant of the Owl House breathed in another empty day.
In the distance something stirred.
In 'Night, the Beautifier' a woman arrives at the Owl House pushed and drawn there though her chaos filled life. In her attempts to experience the house at night, she is resisted by the Attendant, until the spirit of the house intervenes. Convinced that the house will become her final resting place, she proceeds, until the night time reveals the true extent of her realities.
