Tragedy adaptation staged as a one-person show, based on Euripides’ 'Medea' and Hans Henny Jahnn’s 1926 German interpretation of Medea

First performed in English translation, subsequently in Afrikaans (both translations by Arnold Blumer). Prologue by Hans Henny Jahnn. Staged by Raimond Schoop, with permission of CAPAB. Stage manager: Andre Darling

Re-performed in March 2011 at Woordfees in the Klein Libertas Theater, in the Afrikaans translation, directed and designed by Martinus Basson, with Coba-Maryn Wilsenach as Medea. Re-performed again in 2012 at Aardklop with Wilsenach as Medea. In September 2019 it was adapted by Dario D’Ambrosi’s Teatro Patologico, staged in the Mannie Manim Theatre at The Market Theatre, Johannesburg
