Strubenholm

Also known as Strubenheim, it was the original name of the stables situated next to Glenara. It remained the home of the administration section (including the offices of the principal and the registrar) until July 1963 when the newly erected Bremner Building was occupied. Strubenholm also accommodated the College of Music which amalgamated with the University in 1923. It was the home of Henry Struben after whom the residence was named, 'heim' meaning home in German.
