The aim of this project was to allow Ouma Katrina to reflect on the relationship between landscape and language in Nǀuu. On day one Ouma Katrina Esau is interviewed by Bradley Van Sitters and Tauriq Jenkins in Upington. In Nǀuu and Afrikaans Ouma Katrina gives us a glimpse of her life. This includes some wonderful family memories as well as some heartbreaking stories of working as a farm laborer along with her sisters and father.
