On the second day of the interview Ouma Katrina Esau, shares in Nǀuu and Afrikaans how she was forced to move to Upington. During the process of forced removal she was required to sell all livestock she possessed. She shares how this forced removal impacted her life and that of her children. She also shares her journey of rediscovering the Nǀuu language along with other Nǀuu speakers and reviving the language with them. In this interview we also learn about her experience with customs and rites of passage, medicinal knowledge and some of her memories about veldkos (fieldfood)
