eng Entertainment GF 1973 Livestock Questionnaire 'Narasnek, Farm, PK Wolwefontein, Nearest town of Jansenville. Means 'the back of one's head'. The place is located in a wide gate between a mountain range. On the north side at the entrance to the gate is a round head. The gate or neck is located at the back of the head, hence the name 'njora'. The name was but a little difficult to express, also the spelling. The name was then 'Nara' written, later 'narasnek'. '
afr Vermaak GF 1973 Veeboer Vraelys 'Narasnek, plaas, pk Wolwefontein, naaste dorp Jansenville. Beteken ‘Die agterkant van 'n mens se kop’. Die plek is geleë in ’n wye poort tussen 'n bergreeks. Aan die noordekant by die ingang na die poort is 'n ronde kop. Die poort of nek is geleë aan die agterkant van die kop, vandaar die naam ‘Njora’. Die naam was maar 'n bietjie moeilik om uit te spreek, ook die spelling. Die naam is toe maar ‘Nara’ geskrywe, later ‘Narasnek’.'
