Beutler and saidership are about the River (Forbes 1965 PTSA 11) but it remains inner. No more evident when the pot (T) - received a reduction exit and who became the rise to the name. It's not a translation from Khoekhens. Pettman's distractions are apparently the alternative names without doubt, cf. Lion River, Lion Valley, Khamis, all synonyms for Chamika, according to Schead CJ 1973 Gazette 183. The -ka is old-Cape for 'River' (Hott 430), such as Namaǃ (K) AB, Xami = Lion, The Whole lit. 'Leue River', a frequently occurred name and completely disappeared. Or did it disappear? See Gamica West, where apparently the same name is explained differently.
