To the west border the farm to Korns Fountain Nr Aly Q.3-60, Dist. Albany. On Korns Fountain is komshop; The Komsrivier, a tributary of the Great Fish River, originates on the farm and flows eastward over The Coombs. It also appears topographic that Satead looked like to give Coombs and Korns as synonymous. In an area where virtually all place and farm names are English form or of English origin, Korns are to Coombs Angles; The article 'The' is apparently added because the lock-s as MV. felt. However, the fact is that Korns and therefore Combs of Khoekhoen origin. Forbes 1965 PTSA 16 tells us 'on 31 May [1752] They [Beutler's said] Had an Easy Journey to the N.w. Aan die weste grens die plaas aan Korns Fountain nr Aly Q.3-60, dist. Albany. Op Korns Fountain is Komskop; die Komsrivier, ’n sytak van die Groot-Visrivier, ontspring op die plaas en vloei ooswaarts oor The Coombs. Dit blyk dus ook topografies dat Skead gelyk het om Coombs en Korns as sinoniem aan te gee. In ’n gebied waar feitlik alle plek- en plaasname Engelse vorm het of van Engelse oorsprong is, is Korns tot Coombs verengels; die lidwoord 'The' is blykbaar bygevoeg omdat die slot-s as mv. aangevoel is. Die feit is egter dat Korns en dus ook Coombs van Khoekhoense oorsprong is.
