About the localization there is no doubt. Gordon's naba.hi or 'rhino forest' and the current 'Rhino corner' is the same. The spelling of the farm further indicates that it must be old, also in Dutch. The member 'angle' probably wants to indicate that it was just a portion of the earlier 'forest'.

Die inskrywing is, soos gewoonlik die geval by Gordon, die vertaling van die ou naam. Die ou naam het in sy inlandse vorm verlore gegaan, maar dit leef voort. Naba.hi is wel te verstaan as ǃNaba-hei-, letterlik 'Renoster- boom/bos'. Met die lokalisasie ten opsigte van Sapkamma en die rivier (vgl. Die spelling van die plaas toon verder aan dat dit oud moet wees, ook in Nederlands. Die lid '-Hoek' wil waarskynlik te kenne gee dat dit net ’n gedeelte van die vroeëre 'bos' was.
