The sharp and the blunt accents suggest suction plugs. The ingredients are in after. ǀ Ami-B = Ostrich, in Old Cape Ammi, Ammy etc. (Hott 508), and then ╪ko-b = leg, 'Knochen' (Kr.- R. 1969 NW 249), buy in Old Cape; The name probably relates to a heap of skeletons of ostriches. The national name is merely president. However, in his first component, it still live in translated form, to us. In the district Willowmore there is a farm Vogelstruis emptiness (Lot A p.a. Q.2-8 and lot B p.a. Q.2-9) and a post office with the same name, now in Afrikaans, viz. Ostrich, Ong. 21 km north of Willowmore. (Cf. Topo Cadastral Card 1960 Skin 3322 Oudtshoorn). According to our establishment, Gordon's Amikoob and the names indicate vocrum emptiness and ostrich the same place. The ostrich legs then lay in the place that n.a.v.
