Tyarha
Ityarha is the Xhosanam of this tributary of the Koonap. At summary, approximately 45 km north resort of Grahamstown and 25 km south-west of Fort Beaufort. His oldest name (according to the cards) was Kiangha, later Krangha, still preserved in the farm names 'Kianghas mouth' and 'kiang- Has Drift', resp. NRS Aly. O. 3-58 and 4-24. We have next to the River Different- Living farm names with the ingredient Klip-, eg. ǀ kara-xa = 'rocky spot', with the Xhosa exit -Rha equal to Khoekhens -Xa, and the Tya (with the ty axis) equal to (ǀǀ) Kara, the whole in the Xhosanam Attached to Tyarha, from (ǀǀ) Ka- R (a) XA? This Tyarha (so entered on eg. Topographical series 1974 sheet 3226 King Williams Town) should not be confused with eg. Tyarha on 3128 BD.
