Away, again 16 km from Carnarvon but now north-east, le a 'poison cloth', and on da a 'poison head', so that Ghaapkops should be declared in the same way as Ghaap (head) 3020 AB, omwear. And for the same reason, viz. that the poison plants were found in the immediate area. Exactly what plant is meant here, we cannot determine. What does notice is that its appearance is so often connected to a head or ridge as habitat.

Regoor, weer 16 km van Carnarvon af maar nou noordoostelik, le ’n 'Gifkloof', en op DA 'n 'Gifkop', sodat Ghaapkoppe wel op dieselfde manier verklaar moet word as GHAAP(KOP) 3020 AB, alwaar. en om dieselfde rede, nl. dat die gifplante daar in die onmiddellike omgewing aangetref is. Presies watter plant hier bedoel word, kan ons nie vasstel nie. Wat wel opval, is dat die voorkoms daarvan so dikwels verbind word met ’n kop of rant as habitat.
