Description
eng The name rests on a parable that the mountain on Taaiboskraal (part of the old Modderfontein on 3018 CD) with a musical instrument with bow and string, a name originally from Portuguese (and literally means 'little violin') but taken over in Afrikaans and also in Khoekhoen, then as Ramki-b. The Khoekhoen was particularly attracted to the string tool, and the mountain name was probably given by them by way of survival.
