The heads do not come on the census card 1891 or or veillet's card s.j. before not. The topographical series 1974 sheet 3018 Loeriesfontein game it 'T'e-heads', also on scale 1:50 000 (1974), LG. Enter the height as 707 meters. The heads are today a corner beacon, also from Brakfontein No. 266. It makes it fairly sure that the T'ou- (with the T 'as a clapping sound) is also here as Nama ǀ U = 'Brack (IG)' ( Rust 1960 DNW 12). The -s of the VR. EKV. is also an indication here that we have a fountain name in T'ou-s, and the heads took over their name of the 'Brakfontein'. In fact translate 'Brakfontein' the name t'ous literally. The heads Le northwest of Loeriesfontein, and on the west side of the Krom River.

Die Topografiese reeks 1974 vel 3018 loeriesfontein spel dit 'T’ous- koppe', ook so op skaal 1:50 000 (1974), lg. gee die hoogte aan as 707 meter. Die koppe is vandag ’n hoekbaken, ook van Brakfontein nr 266. Dit maak dit redelik seker dat die T'ou- (met die T’ as klapklank) ook hier te verklaar is soos Nama ǀu = 'brack(ig)' (Rust 1960 DNW 12). Die -s van die vr. ekv. is wel ook hier ’n aanduiding dat ons in T’ou-s ’n fontein- naam het, en die koppe het hulle naam van die 'Brakfontein' oorgeneem. In feite vertaal 'Brakfontein' die naam T'ous letterlik. Die koppe le noordwes van loeriesfontein, en aan die westekant van die Kromrivier.
