We have already booked Naries 3018 CA in th a ** 865 where the same statement was given, at Nama Inari- = 'der Kinnbacken' (Kr.- R. 1969 NW 282). In addition, Mr Du Toit's early declaration confirmed, which, according to his formulation, also applies to other places named Naries. Therefore, we quote Horn here, so that at the other eponymous places in this neighborhood can be taken into account. Probably the name is based on a parable of the topographical case on a jaw, or the place of jaws were found, eg. of people or animals.

Ons het Naries 3018 CA reeds bespreek in TH A** 865 waar dieselfde verklaring gegee is, by Nama Inari- = 'der Kinnbacken' (Kr.-R. 1969 NW 282). Mnr Du Toit se vroeë verklaring bevestig wat reeds gesê is, boonop maak hy volgens sy formulering die verklaring ook van toepassing op ander plekke met die naam Naries. Daarom dat ons horn hier aanhaal, sodat by die ander gelyknamige plekke in hierdie buurt daarmee rekening gehou kan word. Waarskynlik berus die naam op ’n gelykenis van die topografiese geval op 'n kakebeen, of daar is op die plek kakebene gevind, bv. van mense of diere.
