Swabies, Sobabe(Soutpan)

On the cards we had under eyes, the name appears as 'swabic' and as 'swabies' pan', Ig. Just west of 'Red Life', 'Red Little' Place ': It is apparently a salt pan. About the meaning of the name we received no help. The bill of exchange Sobabesoutpan looks suspicious; We should rather go out of the oldest and most common form. Description
eng On the cards we had under eyes, the name appears as 'swabic' and as 'swabies' pan', Ig. Just west of 'Red Life', 'Red Little' Place ': It is apparently a salt pan. About the meaning of the name we received no help. The bill of exchange Sobabesoutpan looks suspicious; We should rather go out of the oldest and most common form. If we simply look for agreement with a word that Almost SWABIES, it can be thought to Sawube- = 'Fahler GideSterbusch, Ein Bitterbusch' (Kr.- R. 1969 NW 343), who likes salt or brackets and also in place names, cf. ZA bubble in th a ** 1110. KRENZ FK 1979 Note's the ground word let him, descending on the sound, think of Nama 'Swabe, Bedutet 'flivers, secretly spreader.'
ZA- BUBEGAS in TH A** 1110.
