Deur die plaas loop ’n riviertjie wat dieselfde naam het as die plaas, sy rigting is van oos na wes; dit is ’n sytak van die Haasrivier. Die sensuskaart van 1891 toon soos ’n elmboog aan die noordelike punt van die plaas die 'Kokersboom Hoogte'.
