Zonnekwa
There is still correspondence, O.A. of the postmaster. On the Topo Cadastral Series 1965 Skin 2916 Springbok, the now subdivided farms are given up as 'Zonnekwa A Nr Gr. 7/1928 'and' Zonnekwa B Nam.q. 12-26 ', LG. Wear the surveillance beacon No. 95 and probably also the old homestead. The farm name is obviously old. As is also evident from the Dutch Z-, the later verdict is africh. Three statements were given, viz. (i) grassland; (ii) Sandlaughter, (iii) the (place of the) Sunemi, LG. From Dr. Vedder, apparently following the tribal exit -kwa. But in this he is definitely wrong. Mr De Waal (Is he the farm owner?) Declaring that he knows the verdict, he tries to spell it, and then the exit was preceded by a suction flap (surnon'tqua), which -kwa (from Gu-, ml. MV ' + The reinforcing -a, ieGua, heard as -kwa) exactly did not. The local people regard the -kwa in this old farm name as equal to '-vlakte' or '-lagte'. Rather let us think of Namaǃ Goa- = Come, Low, Dal, Holtc. The first member, viz. Zonne- (at De Waal Sounds), we can not yet raise satisfactorily. On the corresponding topographical map (series 1974), the places were entered as 'Sonnekwa'. The farms are located in Springbok.
