Samoep, Samoep(Rivier)
Several notes yet. Today, it applies Q. 4-17, District Kenhardt, south of Pofadder, and on it the 'Old Mountains' (as spelled on the Topo Cadastral Card 1964). More in line with Gordon's localization (see his card No. 3, o.a. in Forbes 1965 PTSA as resigned) it is a river (situated at Gordon in Ms 4 18). The name is still preserved in 'eve river' on K 2819 DC and DA, and the names 'evoke's watercourse' as well as 'evoke's valley' 175 km northwest of Kenhardt. The box is like Nama mu- = eye, fountain eye, normal ingredient of many fountain and place names in the northwest. The member is like Nama SA- = 'Buschmann ...' (Kr.- R. 1966 NW 338). Gordon's explicitly that it is called by the Bushmen himself, and his travel description is here also VOI of Bushmen in this area, such as O.A. Also, can still be made of place names along with compositum abie (s) Kwa and Bushman (s) -; So there is a 'Bushmans River' at 2820 DC, also in the district of Kenhardt. 'Boesman (s) fountain' is the translation of eviction.
