Eses

The C. Penicillata is not actually a mongoose, but the fan tailer meerkat (cf. GC. Shortridge The Mammals of South-West Africa, 1934 L 141-5). With the locosuffixes, the name means the 'place of the fan-tailed mere (s)'. Still in his Khoekhoen, still preserved in a translated form here as farm name. Grade square traveled.
