Another multiple finding farms. The T'- by veillet represents the suction consonant. This oebib or t'obep is spelled in many ways. On AC and AD it appears for two farms as 'T'oubeb' (Nrs Ken.Q. 2-10 and 5800/1958), for the head as 'Oubibkop', cf. Topo Cadastral Series 1967 Skin 2920 Kenhardt; On the corresponding topographical map 1974, the spelling T'oubeep and T'oubeepkop with triangle beacon No. 60 on it. That the default here is like Nama ╪o- = salt (Rest 1960 DNW 51), we sure know. T'oubeep (or which spelling is preferred) lie on the banks of Salt River, the western tributary of the Hartbees River, so Salt River is the translation of T'oubeep, D.I. of ^ Obib, with the -P (-B) as fluvial index here; The inland river name is transferred to the farms and head.
