Apparently, ghaboekop on the farm is coming camnop. The plant name Ghabou does not occur in Smith CA 1966 cnsap, also not as an alternative name for Kamb (a) ro. SJ Engelbrecht mentions it in his article in HG 29 May 1925 on p. 30 As follows: 'Igabou = Kambro. The word is usually used only by Hottentots that speak Afrikaans '.
