Salt is in Nama ╪o- (Rust 1960 DNW 51), and with -Be-B as Pan-nominant formans in its application in certain regions, as here, saltpan is in Nama ╪obee-b. The farm guybeep is named without a doubt after the large salt pan that occurs. This farm and old mine are close to the coast and southeastern Port Nolloth, Ong. 22 km away.
