At + Koeri (e) s (mountains) we have the member Koer (e) S- connect to Namaǃ Uri- = white, and because the Koeris Mountains at the northeastern tip of the farm Koeris are reported on the corresponding topographical map 1975 as 'Witberg'. This mountain is on 2918 bb. About West, at 2918 BA, is still a 'Witberg' on the topographical map; it is apparently on the northern boundary of the farm Koeris. This stability gives further topographical support to the identification of 'Koeris' with ' White'.

Hierdie berg is op 2918 BB. Ongeveer wes daarvan, op 2918 BA, is nog ’n 'Witberg' op die Topografiese kaart aangedui; dit is blykbaar op die noordelike grens van die plaas Koeris.
