eng The name of -n fountain and thereon a windmill, along the highway of Steinkopf to Vioolsdrif. Southwestern of it lime mine in the Ari-mountains. Meaning 'Kalkfontein', at Nama Ikhoro- = 'Limestein' (Rust 1960 DNW 34), and -mu- = eye, or, transmitter, bubble source, at mu = to see / see. The -sign here also a source name. This Khoromus is clearly a modern spelling, reasoning on a statement given above . the 'official institutions' but use the spelling GARRA- HAD where, even with regard to a different explanation. the matter is oi not yet made up finally.

Betekenis 'Kalkfontein', by Nama Ikhoro- = 'Kalkstein' (Rust 1960 DNW 34), en -mu- = oog, of, oordragtelik, borrelbron, by mu = om te sien/kyk. Die -s signaleer hier ook 'n bronnaam. Hierdie Khoromus is duidelik ’n moderne spelling, berustende op ’n verklaring soos hierbo gegee is. Die 'amptelike instansies' gebruik egter die spelling GARRA- MOES alwaar, ook t.o.v. ’n ander verklaring. Die saak is o.i. nog nie finaal uitgemaak nie.
