Today it is the name of farm Koenabib Nam. Q. 10-34, just west of the Hartbees River and also western of Pella, on the Cape side of the Orange River. The ml. EKV. -P (also -B) is only a sign that the name is of a mountain or river, and with KoenaBipkop on the farm is named that the farm has received its name from the mountain. If just, the question is whether the mountain name tells that the ǀ jkhona plant occurs there, a sp. GNIDIA (cf. Wiss HJ 1974 Botanische Mitt 28). The -bi is then a locative morpheme. The question is still open.

afr Vandag is dit die naam van plaas Koenabib Nam. Q. 10-34, net wes van die Hartbeesrivier en ook westelik van Pella, aan die Kaapse kant van die Oranjerivier. Die ml. ekv. -p (ook -b) is onomasties gewoonlik 'n teken dat die naam die van 'n berg of rivier is, en met Koenabipkop op die plaas word verntoed dat die plaas sy naam van die berg gekry het. Indien juis, is die vraag of die bergnaam vertel dat die ǀjkhona-plant daar voorkom, 'n sp. Gnidia (vgl. Wiss HJ 1974 Botanische Mitt 28). Die -bi- is dan 'n loka- tiewe morfeem. Die vraag is nog oop.
