Oernoep(Rivier)

The 'Oernoep River' flows from the southwest the Orenian River. In th a ** 1089, we have the name Uranoep, Oernoep, Orieno0p T.O.v. The first member connects with Namaǃ Uri = 'White'. Topographic support for this statement now we find in that the 'white-running river' north of the mouth of the Uernoep River in the orange water, but now from the northeast. The Witloth River is therefore in South West Africa, the Unoep River in the Cape Province. The 'white' in the names probably relate to the condition of the bottom; A farm north of the Witlop River, bears the name 'white pit'. Whether the second member of each of the river names has a mortgage, ni.a.w. OR '-NoOp' has a mortgage with 'run', we do not know.
