Waterstroom Vley' No G.w. 20-6, Dist. Postmasburg, lies in an environment where marshes occur. The topographical series 1974 sheet 2822 Postmasburg giving up, next to Waterstroomvlei (where the farm water stream valley got its Dutch name), also Middelvlei and Preto Riot. Here, in the early days, many waterfalls, as can be expected, among them also wild ducks and wildlife, both of the Anatida family, by the Khoekhoen (here mainly Griqua and Korana) called 'Geese', D.W.S. With justify Ga, derived from Afrikaans. The old name Fritsch mentioned in 1868 has disappeared, but, after us, did not leave tracks. Not on the water loins (such as wildlife) at the marshes, but on the marshes themselves, of which 'water stream is' one, known in the old days as Gassip.

afr Waterstroom Vley' nr G.W. 20-6, dist. Postmasburg, le in ’n omgewing waar vleie baie voorkom.
