This run between bone break and norise is without name on other affordable cards, eg. On topographical series 1976 sheet 2819 CB Insepkans (1:50 000). Judging by the soil fuel and on the basis of sound associative considerations, the (apparently now lost) old name means 'false river', with -ap for -ǃ Ab = River, and the and as Nama Hin (a) - = False (Rust 1960 DNW 20). It's just a suspicion.

Hierdie lopie tussen Beenbreek en Noriseep is sonder naam op ander be skikbare kaarte, bv. op Topografiese reeks 1976 vel 2819 CB Onseepkans (1:50 000). Te oordeel na die bodemgesteldheid flier en op grond van klankassosiatiewe oorwegings hierby kan die (blykbaar nou verlore) ou naam beteken het 'Valsrivier', met -ap vir -ǃa-b = rivier, en die En- soos Nama hin(a)- = vals (Rust 1960 DNW 20). Dit is net 'n vermoede.
