This applies here the place described above by surveying, but there is another 'quap' whorlop, viz. At 2817 AD. It will have the same meaning.

PNK beveel aan 'Kwaap'. Die Tc. in die ou optekening is wel die suigklap en die eerste konsonant, vir ╪goa- = modder, en die -p (-b van die ml. ekv.) is moontlik die gewone indeks van riviername, of ’n saamtrek- king van ǃa- = 'rivier', plus die indeksteken -p. letterlik 'Modderige rivier(tjie)'. Dit geld hier die plek soos hierbo beskrywe deur Opmeting, maar daar is nog ’n 'Kwaap' hoerop, nl. op 2817 AD. Dit sal wel dieselfde betekenis he.
