Kururu(Fontein, -Rivier)

In earlier years, these rivers were very unknown and confused. On Alexander's card, Kururu can be the Ham River. In any case, it is indicated there with dotted lines as being a dry river. Alexander writes a suction patch in front, and says the name means 'noisy', which is strange I.v.m. A dry run look. But his anglicis of what was told Horn was inadequate here. The form is iguru = 'Don- nern' (Rust 1960 DNW 14), with change G and K, cf. 5 A 3. On this meaning we are made by Krenz FK 1974 Farmer Note. Over the thunder, one can fantasize, eg. That water after a thunderstorm intertwin in the bed.
