Xammus

The quote was given in the German translation of E Moritz because he had a foot identify the place closer than 'Amas Am Ham (Amse) river'. In Xammus, we have the older federal form of Amas, cf. at. C-Amdebo e.d. And look further Hott 186-8. With chasher it is hearing asǃ Xam- (orǃ Comb) = green, and load (here spelled) = place, the whole 'green farm'.

Description
eng The quote was given in the German translation of E Moritz because he had a foot identify the place closer than 'Amas Am Ham (Amse) river'. In Xammus, we have the older federal form of Amas, cf. at. C-Amdebo e.d. And look further Hott 186-8. With chasher it is hearing asǃ Xam- (orǃ Comb) = green, and load (here spelled) = place, the whole 'green farm'.
