Oems(Berg)

Mountain range east of Alexander Bay, in the series Le Oemsberg, and Eastern Horn his neighbor Rosin Mountain, of which the first member is the common name of the Grewia Flava that appears abundantly and also carried by the place 'raisynjiewater' in the same Vanderterrberg Range and what Northwestern of Oemsberg lies. The member OEM (s) - is again the Any Straighted Pronunciation of the Khoekhoense name for the raisin bush, viz. of the ╪ou, realized as oen, and before the B- of the component -berg partially assimilated to OEM. In his first member, Oemsberg Khoekhens, equals Rosin Mount, which is apparently, as the younger, the translation of the older inland name. About the Grewia Flava cf. Smith 1966 CNSAP 403.

Smith 1966 CNSAP 403.
