Gous, Ghous

The name Gous may be related to that of the northern neighboring farm Black Modder and is then as Nama + Goa- = 'AngeFeuchteter Lehm ...' ( Kr. ǃ Soon-s in the meaning of a 'waterfall', if a waterfall occurs there, on proposal of Krenz FK 1979 note. 'Gous' has nothing to do with the family name gous or with English 'Ghost' (= ghost) Not, as it is claimed, cf. of Vrede's fellowships tap 'mud', or 'waterfall'.
