Hahn writes the basic word keys without suction flap, and expressly that it should be declared with the EU FORBIAPLY type as a basis; Pastor Weber who worked there and spoke the language well, writes in the quotation from 1873 a place name (= fgabis) with his slap, but Gorexas itself without it. They do not think of a statement such as 'Sebrafontein' who in the Nama word for Zebra a suction slide. The best regarded the name as the 'euphorbiay-sight spring', in the Volksmond 'MelkBosfontein'. The name occurs in several places, therefore, is always quoted above enough to situble the place as the 'Korechas' above Warmbaths SWA. The name appears repeatedly in travel descriptions, it was an important strain and overturn at the water location on the Houts of Warmbaths northwards to root and beyond. It's not a farm name, but still exists. So it appears on the topographical series 1973 sheet 2818 Warmbaths; On the scale 1:50 000 for 2818 BA it appeared just above the Dreihukdam who was where the old Korechas were. The K and G (Kore X Gore) in the name is the old and well-known fluctuation that functions in cases allophonically. OPM. Daar word nou beweer dat die saak betrek moet word op die ǃgore-b of sebra (so deur dr H. Vedder wat dr Mossop oor die betekenis van die plekname by Van Reenen voorgelig het, kyk bl. 12), of op die goreb, ’n spesie Euphorbia, (so deur Pettman 1931 SAPN 150, nie aangehaal nie, wat dit verbind met E. ingens en ook met E. mauritanica). Alexander se opmerking aangaande die sebraspore was as sodanig nie onjuis nie, maar het wel gelêi tot ’n onjuiste gevolgtrekking, nl. dat die fonteinnaam met die sebras te doen het. Die fontein het as drinkplek met hulle te doen, nie die naam van die fontein nie. Hahn skryf die grondwoord kore- sonder suigklap, en se uitdruklik dat dit met die eu- forbiaplantsoort as grondslag verklaar moet word; pastor Weber wat daar gewerk het en die taal goed gepraat het, skryf in die aanhaling uit 1873 ’n pleknaam (=FGabis) met sy klap, maar Gorexas self daarsonder. Hulle dink nie aan 'n verklaring soos 'Sebrafontein' wat in die Namawoord vir sebra ’n suigklap nodig het nie. Die bes-ingeligtes beskou die naam as die 'Euforbiaryke fonteinplek', in die volksmond 'Melkbosfontein'. Die naam kom op verskeie plekke voor, daarom is hierbo telkens genoeg aangehaal om die plek ook ontwyfelbaar te situeer as die 'Korechas' bokant Warmbad SWA. Die naam kom herhaaldelik voor in reisbeskrywings, dit was ’n belangrike uitspanning en oorstaning by die waterplek aan die Homrivier van Warmbad af noordwaarts na Wortel en verder. Dit is nie ’n plaasnaam nie, maar bestaan nog. So kom dit voor op die Topografiese reeks 1973 vel 2818 Warmbad; op die skaal 1:50 000 vir 2818 BA verskyn dit net bokant die Dreihukdam wat wel le waar die ou Korechas was. Die k- en g- (Kore- x Gore-) in die naam is die ou en bekende wisseling wat in gevalle allofonies fungeer. Opm. In TH A* word onder CORREGAS op bl. 293 en onder KORECHAS, KOREXAS op 766 verwys na die inskrywing GORECHAS wat per abuis uitgelaat is en nou hier opgeneem word.
