Nomas, Nomaos
The 'Warmbadfluss' is the Hom River flowing through Warmbaths. 'Village' at Veillet means a site or 'kraal'. The Krikriekarte gives the translation of the form nomaos, otherwise Nomas, such as Nama Inoma- = 'Wurzel, Pfahlwurzel' (Kr.- R. 1969 NW 298), with the exit Fern. Sing, - What's what the place is a fountain, the 'root fountain'. The -o (s) in the variant form Nomaos is not quite clear, it is certainly not such as ǀ Ao-S = fountain, or eg. = ^ b- = 'narrow' (- ╪o-s = chinks), because no one writes a suction patch in front. This great Namaard lies right north of the Warmbaths on the Hom River almost on the latitude 28 ° but still there above in the block 27 °, on CD. At the top of 27 °, on AB, Chart of Sprigade Misel 1904, another Nomas, source, right west of the Great Karas Mountains, well with the same meaning of 'root'.
