Yet, Uridanab is apparently a 'whitehead', such as Namaǃ Uri = white, and Dana, alternately with Nama Tana = head. It strikes on a mountain or head. There is great chance that the farm name Witkop for No. 35 is a translation.

Die naam kom nie op die Kriegskarten voor nie. Effens laer af, op S 2819 B, net suid van Ariamsvley, le ’n 'Witkop', plaas nr 36, distrik Karasburg. Tog is ook Uridanab klaarblyklik 'n 'Witkop', soos Nama ǃuri = wit, en dana-, afwisselend met Nama tana = kop. Dit slaan op ’n berg of kop. Daar is groot kans dat die plaasnaam Witkop vir nr 35 wel ’n vertaling is.
