Dit is ’n bron (uitspanning) aan die pad as die reisiger van Heirachabis noordwaarts gaan na Keimub of, soos dit vandag in sy vertaalde vorm heet, na Blinkoog toe aan die Kainabrivier. Hanab le op die plaas Blinkoog nr 30, volgens die skaal kor- releer dit met die droë pan Namkus, sodat daar dalk 'n verband mag be- staan tussen die 'Blink-' van die plaasnaam en die -ǃna- van die pannaam met Nama ǃna- = 'das licht' (Kr.-R. 1969 NW 278).
