Die -bi- is die morfeem wat se dat dit die naam van 'n plek is, die -s (fern, sing.) maak dit soms bepaalder en se hier dat die plek moontlik ’n fontein/ bron/puts ens. is of ’n kousale derivaat daarvan is, bv. ’n nedersetting by die waterplek.
