Nukaneb

The grade square is for the place where the NUKANEB walks into the concipal, but the river begins over and easily of Bethanine. We discussed the name under Nuganib in th a ** 926-7 and declared as 'black wreath'. The exchange ruling we are now heard, viz. Nunaniep-, node the river name linguistically to 'Swartrand' (see th a * 939) fast, and we also hear the geographical reason for this, TW because the river already runs down on the black beach. The above serves as improvement or supplementation. The River name, however, is enrolled as NUKANEB on the official map of the SWA Series 1975 Skin 2716 Ai-Ais. The Changes of -n-,-and -G- is illustrated here. The -B of the ml. Ekv . (Also wrote -P in the quotation) is simply at river names.

eng Surveying 1951 'NukanieP River, Dist. Bethanien, ong. 30 miles [48 km] east of town. Old name of a river, from Nama. Other game forms: Nunaniep River, which also means 'Swartrand River'; Because the river already runs down on the blackland, it is named after the rand '. [Information by Sergeant SJ Buys obtained from Mr David Vries.]
afr Opmeting 1951 'Nukanieprivier, dist. Bethanien, ong.

Bostaande dien as verbetering of aanvulling.
