Gaamsgeis, -Karis
Two sources on the Wapad who go up to the west of the Grootfish River. The southern source is the largest, therefore the addition -Gei-S = large, unlike the ╪khari-s = small, the -s each location at the source. The member -ams = mouth, round water, make up, and this was apparently a fight, an attack, Nama ǀǀ Ga, cf. Also Kr.-r. 1969 NW 78.

Twee bronne aan die wapad wat ten weste van die Grootvisrivier opgaan. Die suidelike bron is die grootste, daarom die byvoeging -gei-s = groot, in teenstelling met die ╪khari-s = klein, die -s telkens lokatief by die bron. Die lid -ams = mond, ronde watertjie, uitmonding, en hierby was blykbaar vroeër ’n geveg, 'n aanval, Nama ǀǀga, vgl. ook Kr.-R. 1969 NW 78.
