Die -cha- (Nama -xa-) dui hoeveelheid aan, d.w.s. dit beteken so ongeveer 'baie', en die -b (ml. ekv.) indiseer hier bepaal- delik die rivier (Inachabrivier loop in die Konkiep), sodat die 'Duwwelt- jiesrivier' sy naam oorgedra het op die plaas nr 89, distrik Bethanien, en moontlik op die 'Inachabkuppe' met landmetersbaken 975 daarop, vorm- ende die noordwestelike plaashoek.
