ǀNobes

The conversation is about 'Nubees' No. 274, south of and close to Aroab, Dist. Keetmanshoop. With the return of Rev. Weber, hot tub, dated 1875, as ǀ Nobes, a judgment known until 1977, eg. To Mr Arndt and his team, it seems the entries Nubis, Nukee, with the new, wrongly laid up to the statements of new as ╪nu- = 'black', d.w.s. to statements that take the suction consonant as palatal. So we did in TF1 A ** 890 and 922. The suction consonant is done - apparently the Dental ǀ, as heard in the early time, eg. by Rev. Weber. Therefore, the well-motivated statement of Mr Apriels and his team is also to show - they go out of the ground wordǃ No- - 'Der Frosch' (Rest 1960 DNW 23). Our finding is for the time being the same as that of Mr Arndt: We don't know.
