Nuzinabis

The SWA series 1968 Skin 2618 Keetmanshoop has an interesting engagement on the farm Nuzinabis No. 69, District Keetmanshoop, right west of Aroab. It's viz. 'Window head'. The description of our segs clearly refers to this window head. Then window head is the poetic view of the farm name. 'EIN LOCH HINTURCHBOHREN' (KR. cf. th a * p 46), plus the adverbial -tsi, followed by the second element 11ho, again with the same fluctuation of H and N-, gathered here until -na-, in meaning of OA 'IIBERHANGENDER FELSVORSPRUNG' (Kr.-R. 187). The -be- is locative. The -s may specify here only the 'place'. ǀǀ Hutsi + 11hoa + be + s is then the reconstruction according to current orthography, And 'window head' is the pussy 'translation'.

eng DSWA Series 1912 Blatt 25 Keetmanshoop 'F (poor) nubinabes', and on later maps. Arndt H 1977 and three other khoekhoen of chase conversation 'Nuzinabis. Look, there is a stone just like that Natas, but he is not like that finger clip to narrow or too thin. He has a window, he has a hole. You see through that hole. 11hutsi ǀǀ hoabes. This means a 'cliff with a broken place', that is, a head with a natural window. 11hu actually means broken. ǀǀ Hoa is a cliff. It looks like he's a crush, but he's not a cliff '.
11Hu beteken eintlik stukkend. ǀǀHoa is 'n krans.

'iiberhangender Felsvorsprung' (Kr.-R. 187).
