Nastom is apparently a young farm name. Fly has an unusual, strange shape, like a forefinger bent inside. This is the name of farm No. 44, Southeast of Aus. Nastom is facing the HUIB Hochplateeau. It adds us with a view to the gorge mentioned above. The necessary were mentioned by our peasies, but for this mortgage that throat (in Nama Dommi, cf. Rest 1960 DNW 34, in the place name -Tom (-)), also appear as image in place names, eg. for river as eanvoerkanaal cf. o.a. Uridom (i) in th a ** 1090, and above for gorge.

Nastom is blykbaar ’n jong plaasnaam. Fly het ’n ongewone, vreemde vorm, soos ’n wysvinger wat gebuig is na binne. Dit is die naam van plaas nr 44, suidoos van Aus. Nastom le teenoor die Huib-Hochplateau. Dit voeg ons by met die oog op die kloof wat hierbo genoem is. Die nodige is deur ons segsliede vermeld, maar vir die verband word genoem dat keel (in Nama dommi, vgl.
